Getting you on the right course

Lea Valley Sixth Form offers an ever-growing variety of courses; both academic
and vocational.

The range of courses for each student will depend on the most appropriate level of study; which is based on individual GCSE and BTEC results, the students’ preferred teaching and learning style, and the subjects most appropriate to the student’s career pathway. Year after year it has been proven that students will gain the best results if they are studying subjects that they enjoy and learning in a style in which they are comfortable. Therefore our system is designed to ensure each student is fully supported through individual interviews, which will ensure all students’ progress to the course that is best suited.
