Efe, who was awarded A*, A  and A grades in History, English Literature and Mathematics said of his time at Lea Valley, “The school has provided me with so many opportunities and that’s because of the amazing teachers that go out of their way to help.”

Efe is looking forward to starting the next phase of his studies at Oxford University to study Law. 

 

Top achiever Katherine is looking forward to starting her Linguistics degree at University College London following an A*, A* and A in English Literature, Spanish and French.  Her advice is to be determined and follow your dreams, to work hard and surround yourself with like-minded friends who motivate you to succeed.

“The teachers at Lea Valley motivated me to be the best I can be and the support I received was bespoke to me.  That made a massive difference.”

 

Lorelei praised the quality of teaching at Lea Valley, stating, “When I first joined Lea Valley in 2014 I had a difficult journey due to my lack of understanding of the English Language.  With the help of my teachers, I was able to overcome this and a few years later, I achieved the grades I could only dream of when I first started. The emotions I am feeling today are of overwhelming joy and pride and I have got myself and my teachers to thank for it.”

She achieved A*, A and B in Economics, Mathematics and Drama and Theatre which secured her place at Queen Mary University of London to study Economics.

 

Richard achieved three great A Level grades (B/B/B) in Mathematics, Art and PE and has secured a place to study a Construction Apprenticeship degree with Lendlease.

“My teachers and peers pushed me to be the best I can be and gave me the support I needed in hard times. I feel very proud of my grades and time at Lea Valley.”

 

The fantastic support network throughout the school community is why Molly would recommend Lea Valley to any students looking to study A Level. She is celebrating a B, B, C in Drama and Theatre, English Literature and RE and is now heading to University Campus Barnsley to study Acting for Touring Theatre.

Teachers here always knew how to motivate me. I really enjoyed all my time at Lea Valley and could not have had a better final two years!”

 

Pharmacy at University of East Anglia is where Erkan is taking the next chapter of his educational journey.

“His advice to younger students is to absorb any knowledge you can from anywhere you can. I found past papers particularly useful and use the teachers as much as possible – they are so helpful.”

 

Mehment secured Distinctions in BTEC Business – D*D*D and is off to Loughborough University to study Construction Engineering Management

“All of my teachers were very supportive. The preparation for the controlled assessments were also fantastic and as a class, we had the best support we could get.”

 

Seval was rewarded distinctions all round in BTEC Level 3 Business – D*D*D and is going to study Construction Management at University College London.

Seval stated “It was the constant support and contribution of my teachers that were always there for me and went that extra step.”
