Secondary Transition

The transition from primary to secondary school is an exciting time for every child, bringing the opportunity to experience new subjects, new activities and make new friends.  At Lea Valley Academy we work with parents to ensure that each child feels supported and enjoys their journey into secondary school, making the transition easy and enjoyable for both students and their parents and carers.

Our Year 7 team is experienced in facilitating the transition to our school. We meet your child in their primary school during May and June in a setting where we know they are comfortable. We will also bring current Lea Valley Academy students along so that they are able to learn about us from other students directly.
